steer wheel shakes when braking?

sounds like I need to get my discs resurfaced?

almost 30k on my car.

i would go ahead and resurface the discs and see what results you get.if its still shaking get an allignment.

I had the same prob. It was due to warpped rotors.

the alignment will not affect that problem at all, it is definately the rotors... keep in mind that every time you turn them, they will warp easier, due to less matierial on the rotors... so if it isnt too bad, you might consider just putting up with it for a while...

This had happened to me before. I can almost guarantee you that your rotor(s) is/are warped.
